REC (Recreational Enrichment in the Community)
The REC program consists of Easter Seals consumers from the CES and SPICE programs who are in need of extra recreational supports. The program is offered to Easter Seals Consumers who reside with their families or in community training homes. The program offers consumers on a rotating basis, choices of a variety of community activities, such as participating in a weekly bowling league, theater trips and various day trips. These enhance the Consumers’ ability to grow personally and socially.
